Merry go round

So I wanted to do a long post about all our trips to Disney World, but since that still hasn't happened, I might as well do a bunch of little ones and maybe they will actually get done. We are so lucky to live so close to this very fun place. I am sure it will get old eventually, but not yet and the kids love it. We were very fortunate that Stuart got a very part time job there so he can get us in free a couple of times a year and one of sweet friends has helped us with our small obsession with going about once a month.
So I took Gracie on the merry go round a year ago on my birthday, and she cried the whole time, I guess the moving horses were too much. I didn't get a picture because I was there alone, but it was pretty sad. But last month she said she wanted to go on it again, so we took her and you can see the big smiles. It doesn't hurt that it is right behind the castle, so she gets a pretty good look at that while riding the horses. Zach seems to like it too, so far.

Not giving up on blogging!

So I am always very bummed when I read people say they are done blogging. I really enjoy reading people's blogs and seeing new pics every now and then. Many people have moved on, but I wish they would update at least once in a while for those of us that still like reading blogs. So with that said, I would be a hypocrite if I didn't update. I can't believe it has been so long...
So after many attempts to get pictures of us dressed in our Sunday clothes after church, and having grumpy, hungry kids, we snapped this before church.
Zach doesn't like his bath or anything...
And Stuart thinks this pictures is hilarious because Gracie is using Maxx as a pillow, but it is pretty funny to see such a big dog up on a small couch too.

Baby blessing

One of the reasons that we went to Utah was to bless Zach and my niece while we were all together. It was great to have our loved ones in the circle for Zach's blessing and he got through the whole thing without crying. It was also very neat because my brother was also able to be in the circle with Stuart and my Dad and brother-in-law, so it really was a great family experience. It really gives me an eternal perpective when I see all my immediate family there together. Plus the babies looked so cute in their white outfits, what more can you ask for.
Zach was pretty much done being in his white outfit, but Elly was all smiles as usual.

For some reason it is almost impossible to get Gracie to smile for us in a picture. She always looks so serious or sad. She really does smile, I promise.

More Utah

The trip to Utah is over and it went by way too fast. We were so busy doing fun stuff it is no wonder. Gracie got to go to a petting zoo and ride a pony. Stuart got to ride some ATVs with my brother up in the beautiful mountians, and I got to ride a jet ski for the first time. It was so much fun, although getting thrown off the jet ski was not as fun and graceful as I thought it would be. And of course we got to spend time with my family which was also a good time. Hmmm...nothing like a family reunion in the heart of summer.

Utah trip

We have been lucky enough this year to get together with my family in Park City, Utah for a mini family reunion. It has been great. We got a much needed break from the heat of Florida, and some fun times with my family. We went to the Utah zoo for a day where Gracie got to ride the merry-go-round twice (so 2 different animals), and a little train! It was a very fun day. I can't believe how quickly this week is going by, but I guess all vacations feel this same way. More to come with more activities planned!

Next stop...Milan

Gracie is constantly going and finding shoes to put on, whether it be her shoes, my shoes, Stuart's shoes or even the babies socks. I think she walks in high heels better then I do! I keep telling my friends that everyone needs to have a girl, so you get some funny moments like these, all though chances are we will see this again when Zach starts walking too. And of course those will be photographed and shared as much as possible as well!
