Halloween

We were fortunate enough to go to the Disney World Halloween party last night. It was a lot of fun with all the villians walking around the park and a special parade just for Halloween. They also had trick or treating booths around the park so we loaded up on lots of candy. Stuart had to work tonight so Gracie and I are in charge of answering the door. The dog doesn't like it much and I don't think Gracie likes giving away the candy, but she sure is cute in her costume (thanks Meemaw). Hopefully next year she will be able to say trick or treat. Well Happy Halloween to all!

We found out that Seaworld was offering free admittance for military so we had a fun afternoon checking out Shamu. Stuart picked our seats and said he did not notice the "splash zone" signs everywhere, so as you can see in my picture I am soaked.

This picture is a little old but wanted to share...Gracie and I went to California this summer for a few weeks and Gracie loved playing on the beach of Lake Tahoe.

Mini vacation

My parents were so kind to let us use thier timeshare for a week, but since Stuart is new at his job we couldn't go far, so luckily Florida is the vacation capital. So we had a fun week in Orlando by all the theme parks and hanging out by the pool. Gracie had a lot of fun playing.

Walking

Gracie has started walking around the house like a champ. She falls a lot and forgets to look ahead of herself when walking, but she is pretty proud of herself. She still won't go far outside of the house, but it is coming, I can tell. In some ways it is great to be free of always holding her or her hand, but on the other side of that she can now go wherever she wants whenever she can get away. She also figured out how to open the front door, so it has to stayed locked or she will be a free baby on the run. It is very fun to watch her get around on her own. Now we need to work on talking!
